Whether you are an experienced RVer or a newbie, an RV inspection will provide piece of mind knowing that you will not be buying a 'money pit.' Your NRVIA Certified RV inspector is there to look out for your interests and will provide unbiased information to you.
For buyers, whether buying new or used, an RV inspection ensures that you have a comprehensive understanding of the condition of the RV you are buying. Not only will you be in a better negotiating position, but you be equipped with the information you need to make an informed decision.
Just because an RV is new does not mean everything is working properly. The RV industry is notorious making mistakes during the build process. It’s sad to say, but you’ll have much better luck getting things fixed before you buy.

For sellers, you can set yourself apart and build immediate trust if you offer a completed inspection with your sale. A certified inspection will go a long way to giving the buyer peace of mind. You can give buyers peace of mind about the sale, knowing an industry trained professional has gone over the entire RV & produced a thorough report.
The National Recreational Vehicle Inspectors Association (NRVIA) is a membership organization providing certification and credentials for professional recreational vehicle inspectors across North America.
NRVIA’s mission is to provide credibility through the testing and awarding of credentials to qualified inspectors. NRVIA Inspector members are required to follow specific Standards of Practice and a Code of Ethics that will ensure the consumer will receive an inspection of the highest quality and caliber.
When the consumer hires and NRVIA Certified Inspector, they can be assured they will be receiving a professional, standardized, and through inspection of their RV equipment..
All certified NRVIA Inspectors follow a Code of Ethics. We feel so strongly about the Code of Ethics, we proudly list it on our home page.
Your inspection report will contain a detailed review of all the operating systems in the RV. We’ll tell you what works and what doesn’t, with particular attention to hidden damages and safety concerns. It will have details from front to back and top to bottom. The report will provide details on the condition of all items inspected. Click 'here' for a detailed list of what's included in a KS RV Inspection Services, LLC inspection.
Depending on the size and RV model, the inspection can take anywhere from 3-9 hours. Once the inspection is complete, you will be provided with a detailed report within 24-48 hours.
As a certified professional NRVIA Inspector, we follow strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Once you receive the inspection report, you will have a great snapshot of the condition of the RV at that point and time.
Our inspection will provide you with an accurate and comprehensive report on the condition of the RV, but it’s up to you to decide what to do with this information. No RV is perfect! You may decide to buy it “as is,” request repairs before your purchase, or renegotiate the price based on what we have found. We’ll give you the information you need to make the best decision for you.
Think of a fluid analysis as a blood test for your motorhome or towing vehicle. Just like a blood test, a fluid analysis will give you a snapshot of the health of your engine and or generator. Your inspector will extract a small amount of the fluid to be tested, then send it off to a lab for analysis. These analyses can tell you about contaminates, if there are any metals present that would indicate wear, if the fluids are breaking down and much more. It is like seeing inside your motor, transmission, radiator, generator and even aqua hot system. This can be added to your inspection.
No. As an NRVIA Cerfified Indepent Inspection, our Code of Ethics will not allow us to repair any findings for 12 months. That’s a good thing, because you can be sure that we will never “find” a problem just so we can fix it! What we will do, however, is tell you what issues we find (if any) that are urgent or significant safety concerns as well as all other findings.
No. In fact, sometimes you'll want a professional inspection because you can't be there, such as when you're planning to purchase an RV that's far from your home. Whether or not we have the opportunity to meet you face-to-face, you can count on the report to provide you with all the information you need.
